Yes it was, but I didn't see it being worked on. Sorry. I was told they missed it the first two times they took the battery out trouble shooting the problem.

Keith I have more info that you and others may find interesting. Here is the exact wording of the cause and fix they gave me:
AFTER INSPECTING ALL GROUND AND STRAP FOR THE MAIN POWER CABLES COVER HAD LOST TENSION AND WAS CAUSING THERE TO BE A LOST OF GROUND CAUSING FEED BACK IN THE RADIO SYSTEM. WE WERE ABLE TO REPAIR THE TENSIONING STRAP AND NOW VEHICLE IS WORKING AS DESIGNED THE FEED BACK IN THE RADIO IS NO LONGER PRESENT
The radio works great after this last work they did. I don't hear any noise from the radio, even on very faint stations, between the car being on (double press start button without pressing the brake) and car being in Ready mode (press the start button with the brake pedal pressed down)Last edited by nash; 02-07-2020 at 07:36 AM.

Sounds like they didn't tighten the lower bolt circled in the image I linked and maybe the other one in the foreground. Very surprised that made much of a difference.
Thanks for the clarification.
