Default Bluetooth

I have a 2007 TCH with the navigation system and bluetooth. I have t-mobile as my cell provider.

When I am talking on my cell phone using the nav system bluetooth, everything works fine. However, if i receive a call while I am on the phone, both calls will be dropped. I have not been able to figure out how to switch from one call to the other while using the blue tooth feature.

Anyone else run into this issue? any suggestions?

Thanks
Tim

What causes the calls to drop?
Are you pressing something or does it just drop when there is another call.
I use a Treo and found that I can toggle calls if I use the handset.
I think when I press the 'off hook' button it hangs up, so I just use the handset.

so far, everything i have tried disconnects.

If I just let the incoming call drop, i get disconnected from the call that i am on when the incoming call drops

If I use the handset to try and switch to the incoming call, i lose both calls.

If I use the Nav screen to try and drop the current call and answer the incoming call, I lose both calls.

Test to see if it's the car or the phone
Borrow a different phone and pair it.
See if you can toggle calls.

I have no problem switching calls, etc. with my iPhone, in the Camry or the Highlander, both with NAV.

...I will add that about one third of the time that I answer the phone with the 'off hook' button I lose the call. Not sure, however, if that is due to caller's phone (bad cell zone) or a problem with the car. I, almost, never lose calls if I answer the call by pressing the appropriate button on the handheld (Treo).
I can't figure out if the problem is that I am pressing the off hook button too high up (so that it thinks I am pressing the 'on hook' button) or not. I'm not popular enough that I get so many calls that I can test this!

Well, i found another thread with this same issue. Since I also have the Motorolla razr phone, I would assume that is where the problem lies. I will be upgrading my phone in the very near future so I will not really stress about this as an issue.

I appreciate everyones insight!

I have an iPhone and never had any problems. I even did a 3-way at one point. I have mine on auto answer.
