Deleting Bluetooth Profiles (also WM6 and 8525 problems)
Okay, this may be a REALLY dumb question, but I simply cannot figure out how to delete phone profiles from my bluetooth settings. Anyone?
And while we're on the Bluetooth topic I'm having a TERRIBLE time resyncing my 8525 to my car's Bluetooth since I installed WM6. Has anyone else had this problem? The only thing I can think of is to delete my old 8525 profile (which worked fine), and then hope that I can pair my 8525 with WM6 finally.
Thanks in advance to ANY advise.
Dave

Well that's great but did you have another phone paired prior to the WM6 one you have now? I believe this is the problem. If I was pairing for the first time I don't believe there'd be an issue.

Yes, I had a Motorola E815 paired before this one. I went to the setup menu, and told it to pair my Sprint Touch. It did, and all my voice dials where still there from the E815.
We are having problems with it recognizing my wife's E815. We paired it up as a second phone, but the TCH never seems to want to use it. I have not had a chance to play with it yet.

Re: Deleting Bluetooth Profiles (also WM6 and 8525 problems)
Sounds like a similar problem. I believe it could be fixed if we could just delete the first phone. Once this is accomplished I believe they would pair no problem. The problem we're both having is that the same phones are being used, but the ID's are different so they won't pair.
So the question remains, how do you delete phones that are already in the TCH's system? The manual is worthless.

You can delete a phone, I've done it many times.
Page 138-139 of the NAV manual.
Bring up the phone page.
Hit "Settings"
Hit "Bluetooth"
Hit "Delete"
Select the phone you want to delete.
Touch "Yes" (to confirm)
Also, I have had problems pairing my phone after rebuilding it. You are correct, the trick is to delete the existing registration first.
Hope this helps

Thanks. Phone page on the touch screen, right? I will give this a try. Of course I'm on a business trip now and won't be able to try until tomorrow. (And I'll be DYING to try it until then...) I can't believe I missed the delete button...

I am going to play with mine again this weekend. I guess I can try deleting the second phone and re-adding it. It seemed to pair fine when we set it up, but when my wife drives my car, BT is not working for her.
I will report.
