What Production # are you?

RONR pointed out the the last digits of your VIN # tell you what # your car was produced.

I am # 1878 (Purchased 5/22/06). Being that RONR is #369, I feel young :)

Hmmm, I'm # 006111, not sure how that fits as I bought it 6/14, about a month after the TCH started being sold. It sure is a good one, never expected to get gas mileage so far above the EPA numbers!

I'm number 922. Picked it up 6/9, the day it arrived at the dealership.

Re: What Production # are you?

the last car I bought (Honda Pilot) had a listing on their board that gave info like production number, etc. would be great if we could do something similar here. I will quote the moderators comment from there as maybe a base for someone to create a similar type thing for here:

"This thread began from its sister thread,
What number is your Pilot? and just grew from there.
It's interesting to compare VINs, colors, see what other Pilots were built around the same date as yours!

Post your VIN and other info to this thread and I'll add it to the following table.
In the table we include the last 5 digits of the VIN, considered to be
the "production number". BUT, please post the LAST SIX DIGITS
so we can entertain a theory of what that digit is for (see posts on 9/18 re: Canadian Pilots)
(n.b.: That digit indicates the country. Keep including it please!)

Please include: VIN, your userid, Build date if you know it (read on for how to determine), Delivery date, Color, Model,
any known problems, and your location."

This was then put in the format of a table that we all cut and pasted into to add ours in the correct place...

As I stated before in my previous post, the Plant Production Code begins with the 12th digit. That leaves 6 spaces for the production number.
