I am pretty sure that if you order your Camry Hybrid in canada that it will be built in Canada.

If it was a Corolla I'd believe you, but a Camry no way.

Japan or Kentucky not Canada.

Mine is built in Japan.

As I recall, all TCH's were built in Japan until November of 2006 [vin#s start with JT]. Then toyota started building in Kentucky [vin#s start with 4T] J-built cars seemed to have less problems. Mine is perfect. J-built, assembled in July or August 2006. I took delivery in Sept 06, and absolutely NO problems in 20k miles. Soon TCH's will also be built in Australia. A new TCH assembly plant is going up there now.

i purchased and took delivery of my kentucky-bred tch on july 4, 2007!
