Default replacing wipers

Owner's manual says nothing about replacing wiper blades. There's a lever underneath the blade but pushing it doesn't seem to have an affect on the blades.

How can I replace the blades??

TIA

They should just slide out... like most blades you may have to squeeze a portion of the blade through a stopper. The rest of the blade runs within a track, just keep sliding it out... do the reverse on inserting the blade refill.

Do NOT replace entire wiper blade assembly, you will be sorry. The OEM one is calibrated for your car, the GENERICS ones are NOT.

Blade refills yes. You can probably find blade refills at autostores but the length may have to be cut which requires some effort in order to get it just right. I buy all my blade refills from the dealership... which isn't a huge expense. It's probably the only thing I buy from the dealership.

I just replaced mine with Napa Exact fit wiper blade refills. About $6 for the drivers side blade (vs close to 20 for the whole assembly). It took a bit of effort to get the originals out, but the NAPA ones went in easily and seem to work fine.

Should be the same deal. Just pull out the blade portion of the wiper.

They're also fairly cheap. I replaced my dad's camry wipers to the tune of $8 for the driver's side and $5 for the passenger side from the Toyota dealer.

You may well delay having to deal with this issue by cleaning the blades regularly using commercial alcohol wipes available at most every drug store. Eventually the blades will have to be replaced, but why not safely delay it a while.
