Wow. Could you elaborate? I find your report very fascinating if not challenging.

The general consensus is that prior to the 06HCH the A/C compressor could not operate without the gas engine because it is solely a belt-driven compressor.
Perhaps the ventilation system (fan) is simply blowing cool air because the ducting framework was previously cooled by the A/C. No ?

May I ask if there is any fuse for the small electric AC compressor?
As mine seem to stop working electronically.

A vehicle that acheives only 25MPG on average, with the same overall 5-10% decrease will yield only 2-3MPG difference....
