15 min was about right, mistery solved. Though why did it do it at 8K Could it be that this is what happens that makes a jump in fe at around 4K? Since mine had its PCM changed at near 4K it waited until now?

Well, I noticed at about 10,xxx miles, and then again at 42,2xx miles so that's why it must be appox. every 10k miles. Or it may be hours, or it may be a coincidence. There is a mention of this event in your owner's manual, but no mention of the interval.

Totaly guessing, but I think it's every so-many hours. Call it an educated guess.

Mine did it once that I know of for sure, but it like everyoe else it was not at a significant mileage threshold.
