Tom it's great to hear from an old GH frind again. I hope everything is going great for you.... and managing all the snow.

Regarding 200K miles, I am approaching 190K.
Main CVT clutch has been replaced at around 130K and the belt slips / grabs at times so it could use replacing.

Still plodding along.

Steve, it is good to hear from folks like you. I have an 05 hch with about 130k, still going well.
Is your battery pack still holding up on your 04?
Have you given any thought to buying one of the chargers that have been designed for the older insights to bring the battery pack up and balance it with AC current? Some think this extends the life of the pack.

I have no consideration for that at all. I've never had my car do a battery recalibration yet ... I've learned to live by the saying "If it isn't broken don't fix it".

I plan to have a lot of preventive service done to the car when it reaches 200K. Complete inspection, radiator and brake service etc and continue driving until it stops. It seems the junk yard is still a long way off.
