200,000 Today
'06 just turned 200k today. Replaced MeC pump, rear door actuator, 12v battery, rear disc and pads, turned front discs and new pads plus regular maintenance items. Replaced struts and shocks for a cleaner, stiffer ride.
Hooked up a ScanGuage because this thing didn't come with a temperature gauge!
How do I post a pic of the odometer to the forum? Like to avoid outside link too accounts...
300k possible? What do you think?

Re: 200,000 Today
We live on a dirt road. I started car life at 3k maint. intervals with air cooled VW's. The FEH gets oil every 5k. Filters as needed by visual inspection during oil changes. More frequent than normal intervals in any case.
As far as I can tell from oil changes no noticeable difference in drained volumes since new. But I'm not measuring them either.
I'm still impressed with how tight this car is after 200k. We never kept a Subaru that long, just started feeling goosey about the noises etc at +/- 150k.

Congrats! At what mileage did you replace those components you listed? I just replaced our traction battery actuator a month or so ago @ 79k, and have yet to do the MECS pump (not even sure if it's original or not, but will crawl under it and check the part # soon).

Replaced MeC pump at 170k. Temps were ok locally, but the pump was whining and growling so it was changed out before a trip to AZ last year.
The FEH gets 30k a year.

Nice, Steve!
Based on your excellent maintenance regime, 300k seems very reasonable.
We're at 88k in the '07 and feel very fortunate to have only replaced the tires, wipers, and oil every 10k.
Good luck!
Rob
