Default New XM module for 2007

I noticed that Honda seems to have changed their XM radio kit for the hybrids this year.

Last year's instructions show the module being mounted in the trunk, requiring temporary removal of the console, rear seat, etc.

This year's instructions show it mounted in the passenger footwell.

Does anyone know for sure whether I can use this new kit? I would expect so, since there doesn't seem to have been any changes to the audio system, but you never know. I'd much rather put it there than have to run it all the way to the back.

The old instructions do specify the EX, not the hybrid, but I don't see where that would make a difference.

And I have to see if I can talk a dealer into selling me the new antenna kit.

Default the XM module for 2007 Hybrids with navigation

Is built-in and activated. No retrofit is necessary. The antenna is on the roof at the rear window.
