Re: What Mileage are you really getting?
Was not the 2012 Tahoe was suppose to be built on a smaller frame? I purchase a use Sante Fe, I average 24 to 27. I still have my 2008 4 door Silverado. I am just keeping the mileage low for towing my boat. I would have to fill my Silverado say 2.5 times a week even as I baby it to get the most mileage using it for work. The Sante Fe, I am using it for the same reason of work. I only filling it once a week. Note, I love my truck ride. It is smooth.

W/ just over 27000 miles, total average on the trip computer is 19.1 (if real light footed sometimes it will climb to 19.2). I generally take a weekly 100 mile one way drive to Chicago on the Jane Addams (I-90) -- and figuring in my head fuel used vs miles traveled I can show up to 22mpg easy -- but that is going slow enough to get the finger often enough from aggressive city drivers, HA! Have never reset the Average MPG meter on the V.I.C. [2009 Escalade]

2.25 years old. 30,000 miles. 21.75 MPG lifetime mileage.
I'd love to know what the MPG would be if I didn't have to go up and down a mile long grade every time I get in the truck.

Re: What Mileage are you really getting?
The most remarkable thing about the 2 Mode is the up and over and up and down on mountian grades. Going up I-70 west to ski going posted speed knocks mpg down quite a bit. However back down in Sunday afternoon traffic the mpg comes back. 20 mpg up and over or up and back.

Re: What Mileage are you really getting?
I guess it probably costs me 1-2 MPG overall (5% to 10%). No indication it is a lot more then that despite the weight of the truck that you are hauling up those grades.
The Prius seems to be more like 10%-20% over the same terrain.
