FEH 2008 dome light problem

Re: FEH 2008 dome light problem
Check your instrument panel backlight intensity control. You probably will find it in the fully upward position, this is used to turn the interior lights on all the time. Try moving it down a quarter turn. The control is just to the left of the steering column.

Before anything else I would double check the dashboard lighting rheostat, the dial to the left of the steering column. Make sure it's not all the way up or down.
All the way up keeps interior lights on, and all the way down will suppress all lighting and sets the gauge lights at a fixed level.

I waited for about 10min, before I decided to just turn it off manually.
