I tried this today, ran the SOC down to 37% in neutral with headlights on. Very interesting. I had no idea the FEH would be such a slug without the battery assist. It's obvious to me now that the battery assist is being used every time we accelerate from a stop. What a difference. I recommend this experiment for hybrid owners.
