If he's not a tire engineer with 37 years of experience, he's bats**t insane. That's a really weird thing to lie about.

I disagree. I do not think it was rude at all. His 37 years experience does not necessarily make him an expert on the relative permeation rates of nitrogen and oxygen through a polymer. Maybe he is, but I know a bit about this topic too and I would like to know more. Tireman9 may be right and I have no problem with it. However, I'm more easily convinced of something from a legitimate study than an internet post. That's just the way I work.
