The wiring diagram for the fan circuit says its a RD/WH wire going to pin 11 for the fan's 12v source but it looks like plain old red to me. Per the other wiring diagram for the hybrid battery control module it shows pin 1 is a RD/WH wire for it's 12v source and that is true. I know I'm on the correct wires because pulling the fuse shows that I am.

I have some decent wire around I can use for the power bypass to pin 11. I believe there are a couple of places under the hood I could use to get my 12v source from the battery and put in my fuse link under the hood as well. I'll try and gather my parts today from the garage while it's raining out and tomorrow I'll try to make the run work end to end. Hopefully this allows the fan to work through the winter.

Today I was able to run a temporary 12 volt power feed to the wire going to pin 11 for the fan's power and the fan worked. So I ran a fresh 16 gauge wire from the positive terminal post on the AUX fuse box to a fuse holder with a 15 amp fuse in it and then ran the rest of the wire through the firewall into the interior and up to the battery pack connector where I spliced in my new power wire. Now my fan turns on every time it needs to and I'm not seeing the voltage drop issues like I was before so it appears I had a bad wire coming from the AUX fuse box to the battery pack connector and it would intermittently cause the fan to stop working. I will keep an eye on it but it looks like the issue has finally been solved.
