Sh*t, Jet1, I'm having the same problem as you: my hybrid brakes work perfectly, also. This is a totally repeatable issue. Every single time I try to stop, the brakes just stop the car. Go figure. The steering seems to be doing the same thing.
I hear the frames on the Silverado don't even rust and fall apart! Imagine that.

If you are driving right Escalade... there won't be any brake dust. I'm planning a ski trip to Co for Easter. Don't know if I will take the black Escalade 4X4 again or the Yukon 4X4I have been driving. 2008 with 98,575 on the odometer. The Slade lets me use the ski rack but burns a little more fuel.
Will be adding pictures to my collection at the 100k mark.
And the brakes are perfect.

You know, I just don't get it...I tried to duplicate ya'lls issue here and you are absolutely right, without fail, the brakes stop the vehicle every time. I am think we should report this to the NHTSA.
Don't you think the pads should last much longer on the hybrids than a non hybrid? The hybrid braking is handling much of the chore without wear to the pads/rotors.

I don't doubt it. I would expect increased lifespan. Our Prius has almost 100K on it and the brakes look new...maybe they aren't working? But I bet that guy in California needs a set.
