Angry Hood Gas Shock Failure

Well checked the oil this morning and got rapped on the head with the hood, looks like I need a new gas shock for the hood.

Just had the hood gas shock replaced under warranty everything is good now. So far only minor vendor related failures with the Tahoe hybrid, Great vehicle.

Hi kklien,
Just wondering, was freezing temp an issue with your blown gas shock for the hood?

Hi Canuck,
Yes -40 got all of them, and it was outside for a week in this kind of weather. How are the olympic preperations coming? I am going to try and take in some of the Hockey.

Still not enough snow on the north shore mountains (Whistler has lots of snow but the local mountains are bare). The local mountains will have the snowboarding competitions whereas Whistler has downhill, louge, etc. They are using straw and hay as the base on the local mountains and then covering that with snow that has been saved at the higher elevations. Pretty strange!

Congrats on getting hockey tickets - they are the hottest ticket to try to get (especially when Canada plays). Hopefully, it won't be gridlock traffic. They are warning people to leave at least 2 hours to get to events because of possible trafffic congestion. I almost want to get out of town!

I can just imagine how busy it is going to be. I don't like crowds either. Straw and then snow interesting and strange. Thanks for the update Canuck.
