hehch2,
Wow, that's great! I'm excited that it worked! Do you reset your Trip A? I reset mine before each segment to see how I'm doing and reset Trip B each time I fill up.

It is definitely habit now for me.

To answer your question, the RPM's were between 1800-1900 when I accelerated from 58 to 64 on flat interstate.

I reset my Trip A in the driveway and I took this pic when I got to work:

Thanks for the updated info on RPM.

Resetting Trip A for each segment was something I hadn't thought of . I figured I'd just let that one go for lifetime average. Good idea to log each segment though. I just might try it.

64.1 is awesome!

digitalfury, I know how you feel.....I went to bed almost every night looking at the advertisement booklet from Honda, reading the options list, looking at the teeny tiny pictures of the hybrid, and imagining myself pushing the radio buttons!

Please let us know when you get yours.
Good news! Got a call this morning, and my baby will be in next week!! I even got my top color choice!

'08 HCH II, Magnetic Pearl, w/ Navi. Can't wait!

This 'lean burn mode' is part of how I get 62-65 MPG on the way to work.
You can also just leave the car at 60mph on CC and get 60mpg or better...

Umm, I love my HCH 2008 which I bought new in early July. I also love my 1992 Mazda Miata and if you Civic drives like your Miata, you need to get the Miata fixed...
