Hal, that's precisely what I paid recently. That's one overpriced filter. The cost for Engine Air Filter, pucrchased at same time, was $18.48. CVT fluid, on the same bill: $19.52 per US quart.

Just to rebut the CVT flush advocates (again): there is no way I would follow the CVT fluid flush procedure, doing 3~4 changes, unless there was some contamination, ie: you had a brain bubble and dumped some motor oil in there. It is not warranted, way to much fluid to recycle and major expense, not to mention the labour. My compromise is to just do a single CVT fluid change yearly, which replaces around 50%.

What did you pay C2hybrid?
Harold -- Precisely the same price $ 36.78, Nov 23 '09 at Honda West, in Calgary.

I'm probably gonna start another thread [unless there's already one out there] on (faint) front-end bearing-like noise (at frequency of wheel rotation, but wheels are balanced and it occurs even at low speeds 30 km/hr. Been driving us nuts since Oct 2008 (2007 HCH new in April 2007). They changed rear wheel hubs, but no improvement.

Gonna take the car to the high pressure car wash, then directly to dealer, to show them how the driver's window auto-reverses when attempting to close when wet (sounds like a minor version of the American TSB 06-014, but I just know they are going to give me all sorts of excuses).

Another thing (probably shouldn't mix up subjects), about Canadian-delivered HCH's. Our VIN goes ...7S8010xx, yet I see that the above TSB applies to ...7S021364. Did the US cars have a different VIN range ?. I can't believe they made 800,000 2007 HCH's.

Gotta change my profile right now -- email address changed.

C2hybrid
Have you rear upper control arms checked. 2006 and part of or all of 2007 had negative camber which cupped the tires.You may be hearing this, if you rotate your tires?
Cheers;

Hal
