Default Gear ****

Do anybody offer any advice on how can i remove the stock ****?

after removed the lock release button and cover
this how it look like but i fail to locate the next step to remove completely



might wanna change to this look

thanks for the picture, my manual just arrived
i;m lost how to remove the shroud
it cannot push down or up

wonder if i must remove the lever rod cap and bushing
or the **** two screw first to unplug the ****

unless there's a catch bef the shroud can slide down

Yah. The manual did not explain exactly how to take it off. That looks like it will work. Let me know how it goes.

A kind soul like you assisted, I'm redirected to 8th civic forum
From that description and a few attempts, final got the crux of the removal

That guy claimed he pry open both side than pushes down the shroud
I found that prying unnecessary as there’s no locking latch at the side

The only latch that holds the shroud located at the front, but we cannot access there to unlock the shroud so the only alternative location via the rear with a hard thug downwards to release the catch.

Remember to use protective material before place a hard flat metal to force down the shroud, I use a 8mm diameter rod to push down the shroud.
