Default New Tires

So it looks like either my wife hit a nasty pothole or the car came from the factory out of alignment. So I had to get new tires due a nasty wobble from the "chopped" surface and ended up getting Michelin X-Radials from BJ's out here in NH. Tire were rated highly by Consumer Reports and also got a top score for rolling resistance. I like them, but am now on my second tank of mid to low 40's mpg (getting high 40's to low 50's prior to the change). Was wondering if anyone had an idea of how many miles it took for a new set of tires to wear in for maximum mpg?
