Car Doors. Take a look at all the weatherstripping and the rubber/plastic stops along THESE doors. Honda made a point and went to great effort to make this generation Civic's doors have that solid thud sound when closing. This may make them require a little more effort than you're used to to close them. They're still easier-closing than on my Mazda Tribute. And certainly easier thna on the Benz!

AC. If you don't see AC Off in the display - consider it ON. It's an odd indicator (of sorts), but it's workable.
