Okay. Then I will state it as fact. The mpg is calculated by distance and fuel used. The number for the gauge is taken from those figures and not some mpg number stored in the computer some where. The limit is NOT 150mpg.

To prove this get up to over 150 for a while. Then go down to a specific mpg under 150 and see how long it takes to come down. Then calculate the number of miles driven to bring it down. Using this figure you should be able to figure out how much above 150 you were at. I'm not going in to a detailed formula, because I'm too lazy. People here are smart, they will figure it out if they realy care.
