How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?

Re: How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?
Well, another dealer outbid the original offer so we ended up getting the car yesterday for $24,994 out the door (including CA tax). 2007 HCH in Magnetic Pearl w/Navi and 3 miles on the odometer. This place was much closer to our location and the I got the deal on paper before we left. We originally wanted the Galaxy Grey but once we saw it in person, we opted for the MP. They had several color combinations on the lot and the salesman never tried to pull anything funny. He was joking before we signed the papers "I quoted you $34,994 out the door right?" just to get a rise out of me. Everything went smooth and we left in less than 2 hours. Great experience and can't wait to go pick the car up today. Thanks again for your help guys

Re: How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?
I wondered where I should place my first post as a new member. It only makes sense to start at the beginning:
'07 w/o navi
Alabaster Silver
Honda mud guards
Honda wheel locks
$21,990 (no haggling, no counter-offers, never set foot in the dealership, car delivered to my doorstep)
I've gone over every inch of the car inside and out. It has no blemishes or quality flaws --simply amazing. It is so pleasant to drive that I find myself making up excuses to drive somewhere. At least I'm getting 44 mpg (city) doing it!
Honda, once again, proves their dedication to delivering automobiles that meet or exceed our expectations. Also, this was our third, trouble-free purchase through CarsDirect.com. I was able to spend the day with the kids instead of sitting in the dealership haggling the bottom line. The car was delivered to our house, no surprises, all the paperwork was ready to be signed, in-and-out in half an hour. Talk about low stress.

Re: How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?
$19,900 before destination ($595) and dealer processing ($195) here in PA. Landmark in Alexandria, VA sent me a blast mail Thursday night with the price, and Apple Honda in York, PA met it. Last one on the lot, Galaxy Gray with no nav package (I'm a paper maps guy). Bought it Saturday, showed it off to relatives yesterday for Father's day, 5-6 short trips in our hilly neighborhood -- I averaged 49mpg for the day.
Couldn't be happier if I were twins.

Re: How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?
Bought on 7/28 in Northern Virginia
OTD price: $21,500
included $595 destination, $329 processing, about $660 in taxes, $89 for registration, so about $19.8K for "just the car".
Basically, the tax credit (not subject to AMT, woo!) cancels out the taxes/fees; effective cost was about $19.5K for me.

I'd strongly recommend getting on 2-3 local dealers' e-mail lists (or whatever's within an acceptable driving distance for you); it's how I got the $19.9k deal for mine.

Re: How much did you pay for your hybrid civic?
okay, i am back. i traded in my 2007 honda civic si sedan for a 2007 hch ii navi. i really wanted magnetic pearl, but settled for silver. there wasn't a magnetic pearl in the il. the si was my first manual car and just hated it. but, i can say i had an si and driven a manual. well, back to getting higher mpg.
