Please double-check your manual to see if it's there.
I believe under the manual it only allows for three "Unlocking" options.

1. Driver door unlocks whenever you turn the ignition switch to the ACCESSORY position.
2. Auto Door unlocking is deactivated all the time (Default)
3. Driver's door unlocks when you move the shifter lever to the Park Position.

I dont think I remember looking at any other option ?
On your model, what steps do you take to unlock ALL doors ?

Instead of holding the unlock button and waiting for the first click, continue holding for the second click at double the wait time. First click does the driver's door; Second click does all doors. Can't hurt to try and you might get lucky. (To the passive lurker, don't construe this as the complete unlock programming procedure, because it is not)

^Yah. That's how you do it. I guess it's worth a try in an 06 and couldn't hurt anything.

Well to be honest, I have not tried it. When ever I figure out how to get FREE time in my life... I will try it. The second click (according to the manual) is suppose to just unlock the driver door.

Next time I try it, I will just hold it for that much longer and see if something magical happens.

I agree that it's pretty stupid to re-engage the engine despite still having your foot on the brake, but that's how the thing is both programmed and documented.
I wish it were programmed to terminate AS after being in Park for, say, more than 5 seconds. That would answer most people's concerns, including the one about running the engine in Park for heat to survive a blizzard, and the service guy that said they need a way to diagnose the car with the gas engine on.

For what it is worth, I don't buy what the service guy said anyway. They have scan tools that connect to the obd2 port on cars for putting cars in diagnosis mode. Maybe an independent guy or a Saturday mechanic guy might benefit, but a Honda dealer? I think not
