Extended Warranty Shopping

Re: Extended Warranty Shopping
Does anyone know of a good extended warranty for a 2015 Hybrid Toyota Camry. My 3 year lease ends in June 24. I will be purchasing the car. I do not want to waste the $14,400 I paid for 3 years and end with no car and no money.

Re: Extended Warranty Shopping
You are posting in the Honda section.
Depending on your state, the hybrid battery warranty is 8yr/100K miles or 10yr/150K miles (California).
IMHO, extended warranties are rarely worth it. By buying one, you are ensuring that you will spend a lot on maintenance in the form of the warranty on the premise that you won't have to spend money on maintenance. Most consumer advocates present data showing that statistically, you are unlikely to come out ahead.
Lastly, I assume you've crunched the numbers and discovered that your total acquisition cost via lease+purchase is significantly higher than outright purchase. Leases only work out for ONE party - the dealership.
Good luck,
Steve
