As if our state isn't a mess already, there's another big hurricane headed towards Florida. This one's bigger, meaner, and ready to create another wave of damage. Hurricane Frances. Don't you feel the suspsense

This'll be a great 18th birthday on Monday (not). Extended weekend, sure. School's been canceled on Friday and will likely be canceled part of next week if things go as they did last time. There's the possibility that I'll lose power again, so if suddenly I'm not online much, that's why. Sorry!

Lets hope for the best, eh?

This hurricane is not a good situation at all. I feel for all the people in the path of such a potentially devastating storm.

I wish nothing but the best for anyone affected by this. I pray that this storm, if it does hit, weakens considerably.

To anyone on this board who may be in the coastal area of where Frances might hit, get out!! It's not worth sticking around and having the possibility of losing your life. I've been through a minimal hurricane before, and that was enough. Batten down what you can, and save yourselves. We'd much rather have you around here later.

Sincerely,

Mark

Hi Jason:

___I have been living under a rock for the last week given 7 straight days of afternoon shifts as well as the unabridged version of “Red Rabbit” by Tom Clancy in tape format so I have not watched or heard any radio or TV news. I looked up this monster over at the Weather Channel and it is already a Class 4! My god, please insist that your entire family leave the state as soon as humanly possible. This one does not look good for any and all concerned.

___Good Luck and God Bless to you and yours over the next few days if you do in fact stay.

We'll be staying, actually. By the time it hits Greater Orlando the winds will be down to 100MPH (which is actually pretty lowish!)

We don't live in a mobile home, so I think we'll be ok, haha. Unless a tree falls on the house...
