Red face Larger Churches Need Traffic Cops

Some of the larger churches need cops to direct traffic. Sadly, some of the drivers they need to keep in line are the ones coming and going to worship. Speaking of not getting it...

Many of today's Mega Churches are part of the Prosperity Gospel movement (Joel Osteen, etc). They tend to preach that material goods, health, social position, etc are rewards that mankind deserves for faith. The poor are poor simply because their faith isn't strong enough. They probably believe that Jesus would drive a Ferrari or Bentley. Scarry thought.

That's a dangerous message, if you asked me. In fact, seriously you don't need to spend very much time reading the gospels to see the problem with that. Heck, I am TERRIBLE with remembering where anything is and I can point you to Luke chapter 6 like it's off the top of my head:

20Looking at his disciples, he said:
"Blessed are you who are poor,
for yours is the kingdom of God.
...
24"But woe to you who are rich,
for you have already received your comfort.
Seriously, I think a lot of people who call themselves Christians have never even cracked open a bible for 5 minutes to see what it says. Who knows, maybe Jesus would just take the bus even.

I would envision Jesus riding around in a chauffeur driven limo. Of course, it would need to be significantly larger than the one used by the Pope. It would have a "white-pure" flashing bubble light on the roof, and cruise on all highways with the "speed of God".

Trailing behind, would be his 12 Disciples, riding in 12 Shriner-like mini-cars.

Jesus would obviously drive an older F-150 with a tool box and a lumber rack.
He was a carpenter that hung out at the shore with a bunch of fishermen, drinking wine.

I "proclaim" that whatever he drove it would definitely be a 100% efficient engine and no parasitic loss from anything and switch from a Carnot to Wankle Rotary to Otto to Diesel to Stirling to to Brayton to and would run on everything from "water" to "wine" ...

We know his ride had four, independent suspension, drive; all terrain; completely bio-fueled; semi-automated guidance; and better than leather everywhere. It also had a sensitive threat alarm and was drunk-driver safe. Did I mention heated seat?
