For Sale!! 2006 Civic Hybrid....
Hey all - just wanted to let you know that I'm selling my 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. It has 11,345 miles on it - still smells like new! Changed jobs and no longer need the commute. INCLUDES CARPOOL STICKERS!!!! Call me at 714-224-2409 or email me at patchnme04@yahoo.com for more info...save $$$ over new - avoid dealer mark-up fees, taxes, etc. Asking $21,999 - I had the windows tinted lightly and put on mud guards - it is white with tan interior - no navigation.

I would say this goes in the for sale section. Good luck with the sale. I assume you are in Cali.

I'd say keep the car and you'll save even more on gas and still recieve a tax incentive every year. But whatever floats your boat

The federal tax credit is a one-time only deal. And you can only waive sales tax once, if you are in a state where that goes for hybrids. I'm not aware of any property tax incentives in effect althought my state tried before killing off the bill.

Hmmm....you just might be right. It does look like a one-time deal.

However, it mentions you can recive a credit or deduction for just being the original owner?
Who knows, my wife and I love what it does for us and know that it will serve us for a pretty long time.

It is absolutely only a single-year tax credit.

Agreed. Once - the year it is put into service, by the original owner.

Ideally the seller should pass on the credit to you buy discounting the value of the car minus the tax credit. But, more often than not that is not done.
