Default DIY Denali Hybrid Traction Battery Replace?

I have a 2011 Denali Hybrid with 118k of Texas heat miles. Truck is stalling at stop, chugging, delaying acceleration, throwing Service Hybrid and Power Steering codes, averaging 16-18 MPG at best. I replaced the motor top end under warranty at 60k miles due to lifter failure, otherwise no big systemic problems outside of what appears to be a bad hybrid battery I like to drive and maintain vehicles myself for a while, and don't see a reason to give up on this one, so looking at a new GM battery for $3,255 (https://www.genuinegmpartsdirect.com...embly-84141586) vs a recycled Green Bean or local for $2,350.

My question is can I replace the battery myself? I don't want to recklessly risk death, so wondering of there are examples of DIY's getting it done. I have also not been able to find steps, so unclear if it is worth the effort or risk to try myself.

$3255 for something brand new vs. $2350 for something 10+ years old that will likely need replacement 1-2 times in the 5 year warranty period.

While one other had success ordering a battery online, I'm still convinced it was an anomaly. Don't be surprised when they contact you after the order has been placed, and they tell you it's either not in stock for X months, or that they can't sell it to you.

I hope I'm wrong.

Regardless, yes, you can do it yourself. No examples, but total newbs on this site have ventured in with no knowledge and knocked it out quickly.

2011 with only 118k miles and only 900 more bucks for a NEW battery. Hmmmm let me think on this for (1 second lapse of time) YES NEW BATTERY LOL. If you had a +10 yr old +200k mile unit I would say HECK NO get the greenbean refurbished as it will most likely outlast the vehicle at that point..
