If you are a lineman...you probably need jacks or something to change your oil. For most however...that is really nonsense. I change my oil and filter on my Camry Hybrid without any jacks. It is straight forward and I only pay 9 dollars for the 5W-20 Full synthetic and filter. I'm 6 foot and weigh 250 pounds. I got the oil through a 95 cent closeout on Quaker State Torque a while back.
