Camary Dual Problem

Camary Dual Problem
Our 2007 Camry presented us simultaneous VSC and Hybrid system check lights. I'm curious if they maybe the same problem. The battery is charging according to the dash instrument panel and the 12 volt battery is new and showing 13volts. I don't have a schematic to use so I'm in the dark. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Camary Dual Problem
I am assuming these are DTC codes (never heard of VSC codes...)
DTC 45 involves a BUNCH of other codes that you will need a bi-directional scanner to get into the system and see what is going on. An example would be C1243 which is an Acceleration Sensor Stuck Malfunction. All of the codes for this DTC involved either Yaw rate or Acceleration rate sensors either being stuck, shorted, open circuit or similar. These all control the ABS braking system inputs.
DTC 51 has two sections, one I don't think is the problem in your case (drivers side airbag squib circuit short). The other area will give you a code C1259/58 or C1310/51 which indicate an HV System Regeneration Malfunction or a Malfunction in the HV System. This code is thrown when you have a problem between the skid control ECU and the Hybrid control ECU.
Both of these codes involve the same control systems and might have had a temporary problem that set the code. Try re-setting the system (clear the code) and see if the code is set again. If it occurs, you will need someone to run some diagnostic tests on the ABS and VSC systems to see what the problem is.
