Default Changing bluetooth passcode on TCH

OK, I'm a cellphone cheapskate. I have a Motorola V60i, for which I've purchased an adapter...Motorola DC600...which works (sorta) with a headset. However, I cannot change the passcode on the phone itself. The adapter will recognize codes 0000 or 1234. Any thoughts on how to reset the bluetooth passcode on the car? I'm not looking to do anything more fancy that place and receive calls while I wait for my provider, TracFone, to offer even a single bluetooth phone! Thanks, everybody...

If you have a NAV equipped TCH:
From page 137 of the NAV supplement:

Changing the Bluetooth settings
You can change the display and settings of
Bluetooth information on the system.
The information displays the following items.
“Device Name”
. . . . The name in the Bluetooth network.
You can change it.
“Passkey”
. . . . The password when you register
your cellular phone in the system.
You can change it into the figure of
4−8 digits.
“Bluetooth Device Address”
. . . . The address peculiar to the system.
You can not change it. If you
have registered two Bluetooth
phones with the same Device
Name or Passkey and you cannot
distinguish one from the other, refer
to it.
When you change the device name or
Passkey, do the followings.
