Driving my new TCH to Alaska

Driving my new TCH to Alaska
Yesterday I picked up my new TCH up at Bellevue Toyota near Omaha, Nebraska. They had one in stock that was available but didn't have the packages I wanted, so they traded for another that was bound for another dealer.
Now I have a White/Ash Camry Hybrid with Nav, heated leather, sunroof, and spoiler. I've added Costco rubber floormats, they fit great.
I live in Alaska, so I'm going to be driving this beauty home in a few days. I'll probably have 5,000 miles on it by the time I get home - time for the first oil change.
So far with 600 or so miles on the odometer I'm getting 39 MPG mostly highway.

Re: Driving my new TCH to Alaska
Like you, I'm also going to try for remote start. I want to do research though to see if there's any diference in features between factory and aftermarket. The aftermarket has advantage in distance and two-way remote, but perhaps the factory integration has special awareness of other systems. I suppose at the top of that list is not needing to leave a key in the car.

When I got my new plates, the first 3 characters turned out to be "2AK" which I remember as "To Alaska!" Please post your experience - happy journey home!
