Gas $3.75 a gallon in Indy
Where will it end? On the news they said dealers are not wanting to take trades involving SUV's, trucks, etc. They also said there is a run on high milage, and hybrid vehicles. Glad we purchased our TCH when we did, dealers will probably hold out for top dollar on the hybrids now. Thoughts everyone?

Probably part of an increasing trend, except now many folks are going to be upside down in their suvs and trucks, making it harder for them to sell or trade them.
I for one, am really glad we bought our TCH when we did.

Keep in mind that the higher gas prices go, the more you save by having a hybrid.
And yes you are correct, demand for hybrids is closely linked to fuel pricing. The higher gas goes, the more people want higher mileage vehicles.
If high gas prices are the result of market speculation and the bubble pops, gas prices will drop like a rock and so will demand for hybrids. If on the other hand there is a genuine shortage in the oil supply, gas will just keep going up, along with consumer demand for higher mileage vehicles.

Where are you looking? I know the cost of a conversion of a FEH is about $36K from the place in boulder, co. If you have links, that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
