Go Look inside your armrest

Re: Go Look inside your armrest
Hey...now that you mention it, I remember seeing those cards in the Prius models on the lot, but my new TCH didn't come with any of those cards as far as I can tell. Did your TCH come with them?

Really though, I think something has to fit in there because the dimensions are so small.

Not sure. My Prius definitely came with a pad of them.

Nice observation, Kris. Never noticed it before. I now use it to put my travel folding cash (for tolls, parking, etc.). I used to have it in the little slide-out to the left of the steering wheel with my coins, but I like this new spot better.

Re: wish Toyota had come up with a better coin holder
Toyota does have an aftermarket tray with coin holder that I use and like. There is a picture of it at http://www.newtoyotaparts.com/product/?id=2164

Would it be possible to take a photo of it outside of the console...please!
You know...After buying this, I won't have any change to put in it!

Re: Go Look inside your armrest
That coin tray reminds me of the tray that came inside the center console on my previous Toyota...a '99 RAV4. The coins rattled noisily, to the point where I glued a chunk of foam rubber into the lid...the foam rubber held the coins down when the lid was closed. Kinda ugly when the lid was open, but it did the job. Do the coins make a lot of noise in that holder?
