PS - do the boards not accept html coding in the posts? I was having a heck of a time trying to insert the link as "jasper pearl" instead of the whole long link.

The guy didn't like the color, but he took it home and drove it for 1,000+ miles??? It sounds weird to me.

{off-topic} Discussion forums, like this one, use their own method of including code, called BBCode -- click on the link for allowable codes.

A link would be inserted as so:
HTML Code:
[url=http://www.someurl.com/]Clickable text that goes to someurl.com[/url]
This would render as Clickable text that goes to someurl.com (changed someurl.com to greenhybrid, since I have no idea what's at someurl.com )

This is standard for all forums that use this particular forum software. (I'm familiar with it because I run it on several of my own websites.)

Standard HTML, Javascript, etc. codes aren't executed/rendered in forum software as a security precaution. "Evil doers" can wreck havoc if they have access to posting actual HTML/Javascript/SQL code, so any forum software worth its salt has its own way of allowing basic "HTML" features like bolding, italicizing, including links and/or images, etc.

Wow, that was an incredible explanation. LOL. I'm sure I'll never remember that code, I can hardly remember the href code for HTML. haha. Thanks Shannon!

If you ever need a refresher, every page of the forums has a link to that BBCode reference document. Scroll to the bottom of any forum page and there's a link in the lower left of the page for it, along with links to all the Smilies and such.

(Sorry, I get wordy sometimes. )

There was another Jasper Pearl with 500 miles on it listed at a Mitsubishi dealer in the Dallas area. It didn't sell the first time (do any of them?) back in May and was relisted at least 3 more times. I don't know if they ever did sell it. The unofficial concensus on the Edmund's TCH board was that hubby bought it, brought it home and the wife hated the color... pure speculation, of course :-)

As far as I can see, only one Hybrid has met its reserve price on eBay, but that one car has been relisted because the buyer couldn't compete the purchase.

Looks like they are about 0-10 on eBay! I am actually happy to see that - seeing reserve/buy it now prices that are well over MSRP irritates me just as much as dealers doing it.
