Well that was what I was hoping to origanally get out of this post tonight. I only have a 18volt drill and I was wondering if someone else found a way around taking the tires off.

What tools did you use?

Found my 18 volt dewalt too large so I used my 9.6 volt Miketa, worked like a charm and saved me time. Remember to retorque your wheels in 100 miles so you do not loose a wheel.

Wish I had one. The right tools are everything.

Thanks for the advice!

Nice car, nice color, but it lacks side door mouldings, mine is same color and the side mouldings really set it off.

Post some picture of yours with the moldings. I have seen some on other color Camrys but I think the car might look better without them. I am still deciding.

I'm wondering just how well the paint will adhere to the plastic guards over time / impact from rocks etc..

There are special flex agents and adhesion promoters that will really allow the paint to get a good grip on some plastics but my son (bodyman by trade) tells me that it is very expensive and cautioned me to be careful about buying these if I was not sure they were properly prepared.

Unless someone has some real-life experience with how well they hold up -
I think I'll just get the plain ones and pay my son to paint them so I'll be certain..

I have painted ones on my 01 Highlander. They came on there new from the factory. They have no chips.

Buy from the factory and you should have no worries.

Good to know..

I wonder if these were done at the Factory or in someone's garage;

My best guess it that they are not OEM. I would only get oem. That way the will last and MATCH! I will see if I can dig up a link from the Toyota dealership I got mine from.
