Oil Change Reminder

When does the oil change reminder go off? I hit 4k miles and thought it would have flashed to remind me for the 5k. Apparently not.

It should flash at 4500 miles and go solid at 5,000. Mine did that just recently at 10,000 miles. There is a way for you to turn it off and reset it.
