100k Service

100k Service
Just turned 100k.
Called Ford to see what the damage would be for them to service the FEH. They wanted $500. I'm sure it costs them that. What is shop time now, $100/hr? So I won't slam them for the cost.
But I thought, WTH. Bought 5 workshop manuals for $78 off ebay, 2 wiring books, 2 shop manuals and some kind of diagnostics manual which I'm sure I'll have no use for.
I can't even find a draincock for the radiator on this thing! Let alone figure out how to "burp" the traction motor. I suppose even if I need to buy some special use tools for the job I'll still bring it home for under $500. Sure isn't like working on the VW or pickup!
Anyone done a 100k service yet? How'd it go?

Re: 100k Service
I'm at 95k. I'm due soon. Don't think there's much to do. I'll need new brake pads soon I think, and coolent flush.
Only thing I've changed is oil, filters, tires, and plugs.
Oh, and "freon". ( not by choice! )
