Better company, better service, same style programming & not to many black out areas excelent reciever signal...

They even have this unit, it's the size of a radar detector so you can move it car to car with no hassels!!

SV1 Plug-and-play SIRIUS satellite radio • includes car accessories(remote) • built-in FM transmitter • 1-line flippable display • mounting bracket (dash, windshield, sun visor) • 30-channel preset memory. $49.99

Or you can check out : www.crutchfield.com

I got to try XM while using a friends tahoe it would get spotty under trees and areas that didnt have service.. It was explained to me they had a satilite that beamed down the service to tower sites in the cities..

sweet! this looks like it could be really cool. I'm not sure I totally understand how it gets the audio to the head unit however. Once there are more specs available we can figure out if it will work. I know RDS is for the radio, so it would seem that you would have to be tuned to a radio station, not using the CD changer and it is unclear how you could change channels without a remote or in car xm keypad.

I'm quite happy with the XM service myself. Phone support could be better, but I have had no problems with the actual service. At this point it seems its really about exactly what programing you want.

As soon as I get more info about the XMDRDS100 (I hope soon) I'll post it here.

Thanks for the input!
