Well, so far a total of $CDN 26.95 for 2 relays plus my delay relay. When all is said and done, the cost will be about $CDN 90 (most of that is the OEM trunk release mechanism.

Did you get your remote trunk working yet?

I will pick up the trunk solenoid while in Detroit in mid January. However, the 12V wire to feed the unit is now at the trunk latch area, ready to hook up.

System logic has been proved via use of 12V test lamp. I'll post detailed pictures once I'm back from Detroit and install the part.

Cheers

The following shots are details of my 3 relay system (one being the 528T Pulse Timer).

I hope the shots are clear enough in the event someone with a pre-2008 model wishes to install a keyless trunk release using the OEM key fob.....

Part 74851-SNA-A22 Trunk Lid Solenoid has yet to be purchased/installed.

Testing with a temporary 12V test lamp in place has confirmed circuit logic under all conditions.

Details of the delay relay and how it was wired are here:Remote trunk release; how to install in Canadian HCH II?-img_9696with-detail.jpg

The other 4 shots are closeups of my circuit diagram with power flow shown in various operating scenarios:
