I see in a Specifications document recently posted on a different TCH thread, that in at least one listing Toyota refer to the TCH ICE's expansion ratio (of 12.5:1) rather than to its compression ratio. This seems like a sensible idea, since the expansion ratio is fixed, whereas the compression ratio is variable, and a misleading number too, because of the Atkinson/Miller cycle's delayed closing of the intake valves.
