I have not had the "recall" work done in my 2005 yet.

In a friend's 2006, after the battery mod, the ScanGauge reads 84-94 volts for the HV battery pack! What the &@*?

The same ScanGauge in my un-modified car reads 330 to 336 volts.

I'm 99% sure the 2006 is fine, since it starts and runs correctly.
SOC was in the 45% range and charged and discharged when driving.

Perhaps we need yet another modification to the ScanGauge Xgauge?

Has anyone else seen this, "change"? I had not heard of this one.

Thanks, John
This happens when you program the HV Battery voltage xgauge for the TBCM PID, but it reads the TCM PID. The scaling for the two differ by 4X. The 84-94 readings represent 336-376 Volts. Changing the xgauge to read from the TCM should fix the problem, but as far as I know this only happens with the 3.15* versions that can't talk to the TBCM.

Question So maybe it was not the battery fix???

Thanks Carl. This was for sure with my plain 3.15. ( no * )

Also, in my 2005, the volatge is very slooowww to change.
It parks around 336v and only changes a couple of volts after many minutes of driving. In the 2006, the voltages were changing rapidly, ( like every few seconds ) but always in the 84-94 range.

This would indicate ( as you said ) swings between 336-376 within seconds, something I've never seen on my 2005.

Which one is working "correctly"?

On both cars I used:
TXD 074522490B
RXF 04620549060B
3010
MTH 007D40000000

Using the raw HEX on my old SG, I would see wide swings ( in HEX ) per second, depending on charge or discharge. The data seems "buffered" now with Xgauge.

Carl, Info Only: my SGII-XG is Ver 3.15 (no *), and on my 08 FEH AWD, SoC reads in the 33x range with TXD beginning w/0745, and with TXD starting with 07E1, I get SoC in the 80+ V range. So this anomaly also exists in the 3.15 firmware version w/o the asterick.

Over the past several months, one listing on Ron's website showed 07E1 for a brief period of time, and I was monitoring it almost daily for hopeful changes to the BTM entry. That's when I saw the one time chg to 07E1, and realizing mine was set to 0745, I changed it to 07E1 (thinking I was wrong), and when I saw the 80+range reading, knowing that was wrong, I set it back to 0745. Now I see on Ron's website (the last time I looked), both settings are shown.

Perhaps others have mistakenly set this Xgauge value incorrectly some time ago, and haven't noticed that Linear Logic's website now has both entries listed?
