https://www.gmwholesaledirect.com/oe...embly-84442216 says they have it.

Auto manufacturers MUST support vehicles made for 10 years. That pack is still made by Primearth (Toyota/Panasonic). Every single lament of "Dealer says I can't get this battery" always ends in one showing up in 2-4 weeks.

Hello again, just a followup and question.

Found an older Note 4 phone i don't use anymore reset it and loaded the Torque Pro app and added the hybrid GM data. Loos like the attached pictures.
I would like to do the recording of the data (as the thread on battery testing indicated) and post it here for analysis.
Keith I would appreciate the help in diagnosing what it the status or my battery.

Question - how does Torque know what data to record ? Do I need to remove all other gauges that have been added in other screens or the recording is done for the screen you look at disregarding everything else is being monitored in other screens ?

Cells are bad you only moved 0.4% SOC and the voltage went from 15.9 to 15.2 under 1/2 load about 22 cells (could be less but they have to be tested) some might even consider 7.6volts to be ok it's considered about 50% SOC

the ones above 15,9+ are fine(while under load) normal cell voltage is 8.6volts (17.2volts)100% SOC

since the Bus bars are subject to corrosion this can cause additional impedance underload...

some might say it will not happen those people are in denial lol copper oxides very easy

if you plan to service it your self you will need 1000 Volt rated gloves (and eye protection 100% of the time) tell all the nuts and bus bar is off... you will also need a chemical neutralizer such as boric acid and/or banking soda

you don't want to get potassium hydroxide on you lol.

Took another picture of the screen at 9: am this morning after the truck was parked in the garage - (55F inside now) and not started yet...I just put the key to second position, before starting, values on screen are a few seconds after the ECM refreshed the screen from the 60% SOC last night to this morning, resting 12 hours and down to 39 %.....does not look too good.
I will do the recording to get current status and will do another after I get the modules replaced.

Ignore Tahoe's advice. He doesn't know what he's talking about. He's regurgitating his incorrect interpretation of his online research and not conveying anything gleaned from experience let alone something accurate.

To record, you have to flag each of the items you want to record in settings. On the basis of your at-rest block voltages, I wouldn't bother. It's a sh!tshow.

14.8 to 15.8 with the others evenly filling in the range is 100% confirmation of widespread battery deterioration.

Ok, recorded the test.
I had it in Neutral, started off with SoC 62% I think, turned everything on as instructed and a few minutes later when it got down to about 52.8%, the engine started and was charging...did not think that was ok so I shut it off and put the key to ON position without starting and with all the loads still applied just not in AutoStop mode....a few minutes later, nothing was happening, the SoC was not going down, started the engine, put it in Park, shut off the loads and started recharging in idle mode.
At idle, the SoC did not climb much from the low of 52.8% and about 4 min later the engine went into Autostop and I ended the recording.

If I did not do it correctly, and messed up when the engine restarted mid test, please let me know and I will re-do it.

Attached is what It recorded.

Surprised it started in "N". I've always assumed the GM is like the Toyota - won't start/charge in "N". Regardless, here's a plot of the first 5 minutes:

The expanding skew of the block voltages is 100% confirmation of wide spread battery damage. I used vertical line spacing of 0.3V - all 20 block voltages should be inside that range at any given time. The data rate can make this difficult to demonstrate.

Ignition ON = 12V powering the vehicle. HV battery is not connected.

4 minutes of charging looks just as bad:
