Hot zone. Likely why it's failed at lower mileage.

The battery pack will deteriorate to the point of 1) poor performance/power/sluggish accel, 2) the car dies when transitioning between EV and gas, 3) the car dies randomly, 4) car won't start.

The hybrid battery is 1,000% integrated into the propulsion system, so there's no driving it without the hybrid battery. You'll likely want to stop driving it after the first couple times #2 occurs.

dam well that’s for letting know the signs of it going out because I haven’t seen it yet but the light is on I’m thinking it sat at the dealership for awhile and I’m the lucky person to buy it

I've updated the Silverado thread with additional data:

https://www.greenhybrid.com/forums/f...iles-p0-32286/

Tested 21 of the 40 modules - all were complete garbage. I also repeated the discharge test after replacing all 40 modules with brand new ones.

Until you have conducted testing to eliminate the battery, you can't say it's not the battery.

I’m assuming it is the battery I called the dealership I bought it from and they had it on the floor for about month and half so I’m assuming it sat there not running I do have have a light misfire but it could be that I still have the spark plugs it first came with since the mileage is about 124k

I am having a similar issue with a 2010 GMC Yukon. Where can you purchase new cells for the battery?

Dealership. Toyota is the only manufacturer of their product, and they only sell them in assembled batteries.

Regardless of what you may be led to believe by YouTube, all 40 modules need to be replaced.
