Default Getting Hot in Southern California

How do you keep your car cool???

I changed work locations and now park outside during the day. So, when it gets 90 degrees plus, the car gets pretty toasty inside.

Any recommendations for a quality fold-up sunshade? I have one that's made of nylon and a reflective coating that is framed in wire. The shade can be twisted (folded up) for storage. Problem is the HCHII window is slanted and pretty big. The thing doesn't fit right.

Any good solutions???

Just thought I'd throw it out there....

Thanks,
Lansing

I got a white HCH. That seems to help a bit. As far a sunshades go, I too am interested in getting one. It was 94F here on sat.

Last summer (or two ago? ) we identified a jumbo shade that Walmart carries in its automotive department that seems to fit the bill quite nicely. In fact, I own two such shades for each of my HCH-II's.

The price is pretty fair too.

Thanks for the link MSantos. I remember reading that when I first joined GH in July.
