Front Oxygen sensor or Honda Civic 2005 hybrid (cheap)
Hey! I've been advised by a "Rick Hybrid" from "honda-tech" to ask my question here, so here goes really
I had an engine diagnostics done, and it looks like that this would fit my car?
eBay UK item number: 300886268239
Buuuut.. that's £98
Right now, as I don't get paid till a month, I'm looking to get something as CHEAP as possible that works with this car regardless of quality, and then replace with something decent later on
I also contacted a seller who was selling a Denso product (cheaper at £95) and I was told that the seller doesn't stock those, but I need to get this product instead: DOX-0538, but I cant see any in the UK?
Does any one have any suggestions as to what to get?
Tbh, at the end of the day, I just want something cheap for the time being
Thanks!

Re: Front Oxygen sensor or Honda Civic 2005 hybrid (cheap)
Civic hybrids seem particularly finicky about their upstream O2 sensors.
Stock number is 36531-PZA-A01
The Denso 2349005 is the equivalent. I vigorously recommend it. It's US$117 at http://www.rockauto.com/
Go with something cheap, and you'll likely buy another.
Try this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DENSO-234-...cAAMXQbjxRCVkg
Ships free from the colonies.

Would that definitely work with my car however?
I was looking more at EU countries, because a) There are no import taxes and b) It's cheaper to send back to tbh
Would this work?
http://www.e-denso.pl/denso-dox0538-...da-p-4315.html
That's ~£72 + shipping from Poland, whatever that may be!

Re: Front Oxygen sensor or Honda Civic 2005 hybrid (cheap)
I can say the PN I linked will work for a U.S. '05 Civic Hybrid, but maybe not a UK spec.
I have no idea about the one you linked. That says for a subaru, so I kinda doubt it.
Using http://www.denso-am.co.uk/e-catalogue/ I come up with a DOX-1457
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DOX-1457-D...8AAOSwhcJWGtX2
http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/denso-ox...ensor-dox-1457
On the sparkplugs website, on the Cross Reference tab, it lists the same Honda P/N I gave you, so yeah. Good to go.

More so if any one else comes and searches this (Maybe someone who buys my car several years down the line...who knows)
Any way, thanks for that! I got this
"DENSO Direct Fit Lambda Sensor - DOX-1457 - Oxygen / O2 - Genuine OE Part" From Opie Oils for £86 at the time. It's now gone up to £86.77
It has worked!! Thanks for your help!

Re: Front Oxygen sensor or Honda Civic 2005 hybrid (cheap)
I have a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid with the dreaded P0420 error code. I've read numerous posts on how to get around this, using non-foulers/spacers. There are three O2 sensors on my 2005. Which O2 do I install the spacers? One O2 is on the manifold (upstream sensor), one after what I think is the cat, and one on the muffler. I guess the latter two are considered the downstream sensors. Which one though do I install the non-foulers? Thanks!
