Poll: EV only Max Speed and Distance (2018)
Been doing some searching in the forum to see how my 2011 Yukon Hybrid EV performance stacks up against what others are seeing. I've seen people say anything from they can't go over 10mph in EV mode to cruising at 29.8mph for 5 miles! That's a pretty wide distribution so I got curious. Since information seems to be scattered around, I figured a poll would be a quick, graphical way for folks to see how their performance stacks up. Given vehicle performance can change over time and we are nearing the close of 2018, I ask that you answer this poll based on the best performance you saw in your vehicle in 2018. Also given performance varies with temp/climate, you can cherry pick for when your vehicle operates at its best (in my case, late spring/early fall ~65-80 degrees F).
Evaluation criteria:
All driving on as level grade as practical. Please only choose one answer per category (speed/distance/mileage)
Max acceleration speed:
Feel free to also add your own comments on best operating temperature, quirks and other interesting things about your truck's performance!

Max acceleration speed:
- From auto stop 0 mph to when ICE kicks on...at what speed does your ICE kick on? Calibration limited to 29-30 mph so no overexaggerating.
- Engine in auto stop mode for entirety of distance measurement. It's OK to slow down to a cruise speed where EV only kicks on.

2009 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid 3.5" lift 10 x 20 Mayhem Hatchets with Nitto Grappler XOs with 199,000 miles. Original traction Battery.
ICE automatically kicks on at anything over 29mph. Was watching it recently when I took the kids to the local park/campground it has a 1 mile straight drive beside the river at max speed limit of 20 mph. The Ho ran Autostop all the way down the flat 1 mile stretch. Traction battery was probably charged really well though since it is a very steep road down to the river side and it was regenerating for probably 2 to 3 miles.
Too bad the GM Two Mode does Not allow for more battery data like SOC etc. that you could pull up on the 8" screen. All you can get is that silly cartoon display that shows the ICE and EV mode.
Anyway for a 9 year old Hybrid with almost 200k miles this things seems to work really well. Very impressed over the last 2 months and 3000 miles of ownership. Gas mileage is not super impressive at 17mpg but I know the combination of lift/wheels/tires and heavy right foot has a negative affect on mpg. Did not buy it for mpg anyway it is just a Cheap Daily Driver LOL
Got to go now, the Ho needs a new front drivers side hub bearing today. That is the problem with old high mileage vehicles. There is ALWAYS something that they need!
WE Need More Data LOL

Good looking truck man! For data gathering I picked up a Kiwi III OBD2 bluetooth module and use OBD Fusion app on my iphone. Have a few PIDs for monitoring SOC, etc. Good for learning the tendencies of good power management!
